 Hello,   I just wanted to share some information that might help you in the future booking with Meme's Travel Destinations to the Virgin Islands.  1 . St. John there is NO Airport. You have to take a Ferry from the airport of St. Thomas to St. John.  2 . NO PASSPORT REQUIRED TO THE VIRGIN ISLANDS! 3 . Seaplane & Ferry are your Best Options to get around at the Virgin Islands when touring.   4. St. John is best known for Beach/Activity Lovers! 5 .   Closed-Loop Cruise U.S. citizens who board cruise ships at U.S. ports, travel only in the Western Hemisphere, then return to the same port may present a government issued ID, such as a driver's license, to prove identification, accompanied by an original certified birth certificate to prove citizenship. Rule of thumb for passports

  As a rule of thumb,  valid passports should be renewed about 8 months prior to expiration . Why? Because it takes on average 2 months for passport applications to be processed. Can I fly to Cancun without a passport? For the purpose of flying into as well as out of Mexico, a Passport is always required for Cancun as well. Technically, it must be a legitimate passport book and not just an ordinary passport card, as the card isn't valid to travel internationally.  FLYING INTO BAHAMAS:  If you are walking across the border into the Bahamas, you can use the Passport card. Any other way, you must have the Passport Book.  If you are in the process of flying into the Bahamas and ONLY have the card NOT the BOOK and have to expedite a book; YOU MUST GO IN PERSON TO LOUSIANA OR ATLANTA by Appointment ONLY to get a book expedited.  THE CHARGE IS: $60 along with the NORMAL Fee of $130
